On my P3A I could set the days left until the batteries auto-discharged.
I'm not seeing where that option is on my M2P?
 
That option is not available for the Mavic 2. It defaults to 10 days.

What does auto discharge mean?
If you charge a battery and don't use it for 10 days, it will automatically discharge itself down to the storage level to protect itself. DJI programmed the batteries to self discharge to help keep them healthy. If you somehow managed to keep the batteries 100% charged all of the time, they wouldn't live a long life.

Also, my understanding is that if you hit the button to check the charge level, it re-sets the 10 day timer.
Yes, that is the case for most DJI batteries.
