Those photos really show the Kestrel's high-speed and low-speed wing configurations. The F-111 imitated that.

The owl was probably my favourite as it looked superb and huge but in fact it’s all skin and bone under that handsome puffy (sound absorbing) plumage. The baldie was superb of course and was by far the heaviest lander literally ripping the chick out of my fist that I had been given to attract it to my arm. A great morning out.That would be an awesome experience! Which bird were you most impressed with?
