Hi, I'm even getting this issue with DJI smart controllers- I had 2 connected simultaneously, with the same black screen on both. The camera settings are definitely fine as to not see a black picture, and all of the on screen data is correct for what the camera should be seeing- such as the light levels on the histogram display, which change as I pan the camera- also the auto focus box keeps locking on to things. When I take a photo or video, and put the card into my computer- It has captured what the camera was seeing.
I am wondering if it's possible that it's caused by the controller being too close to the drone? as I too have found that this problem hasn't happened outdoors yet. It would be good to know this for sure though. I don't seem to have the option to install an old version of the Go app on the smart controller to test that theory.
