Bluetooth question

Ice bound still grounded, but I plan to run the battery down a bit inside. Everything is hooked up, My concern is about the bluetooth prompt that appeared when turning on the app to warmup. I've read where the bluetooth should be turned off on the iphone when fllying which it is and yet the app asked for permission to use bluetooth to connect to other devices (which I allowed) now I'm wondering why the app would do that?

Was the prompt from the phone? If so just dismiss it and/or turn off BT when going flying.

Good question, It seemed to be from the app itself, I did check to make sure my bluetooth for the phone was off. After exiting the app and calling it back up no further prompts showed up so I have to assume it's fine.
