Just bought a Mavic Pro 2 Zoom. Ill be taking it away with me on my bike.
Im thinking of buying the DJI car charger, cutting of the standard car charger adaptor and fitting the BMW Hella Din socket. I've done this many times on other 12V chargers.
Anyone done this on the DJI Charger ?
Can anyone see any issues doing it ?

You may need to add a step up transformer as the charger does not work on 12v that well, especially if running without the engine on. When running, a car or bike puts out 13.7 or so, and when parked, it drops to 12v or lower, depending on the battery and other accessories that are on at the same time. The transformer will make the charger work even if the power drops under 12v.

Try the charger out first before getting the transformer, and if there is an issue, here is an example of what you may need:

The purpose of the car charger needing the 13 plus volts to work is so you don't run down you car battery when charging your AC battery. I would keep that feature enabled...

Good point- but I hope most of us know how to not let the battery go there! ;)

A spare battery helps with that too.
