Maybe has already been discussed, but to anyone who likes the Smaller Form factor of the BT-300.
The 35-E are slightly bigger/bulgier.

Or likely want to run the Rochestor Solitarie Ace 2.0 VR enclosure (No go with the bigger 35-E/350's); there
is a compromise model called the BT-30E. It is basically a BT-300 that comes with the new HDMI/USB-C interface.

Gotta Love Japan market only hardware thinking.

It's a pretty good example of just how easily they can make the 35-E interface work with original bt-300's. Some small piece of code
or circuit, so I'm sure they will do that soon.

I don't think they are on Epson Japan anymore but eBay has a few. They are about $200 cheaper

The 300's will plug directly into the 35 box. Wish I could have found these, would have saved me from buying both.

Every video/comment I saw said the 300's plug in but you just get an yellow "no-go" light.
Did you not get that?

No, I am using the 300 glasses with the 35 hdmi module. They work great.

That's great. Some guy on youtube said/showed you get an amber light/malfunction, but he maybe just had it setup wrong.

I had wondered what they had done to the 30-E's (a bt-300 in every way but name/compatibility) to get them to work with the module.
I guess nothing.
You should post a video showing the sucess so others know

It does work. You must have your BT-300 glasses on the latest firmware.
