Bug guts

Flying over some treetops to get to a river earlier today, when I wanted to bring it back I noticed 100’s of little bugs in the sky darting at it. I have no clue I managed to piss off a bee hive or what. But the amount of bugs was crazy. Bringing it down they kept attacking. So I would lift up and down kind of rapidly. Ended up killing them. Here is what the drone looks like now [emoji849]

Anyone else have the problem with bugs or bee’s?

you can try turning off your VPS and fly over that bee hive again and see what happens..

I turned mine off after take off and so far so good no bugs or birds trying to harass my mavic

I just does what it does, it will do it itself when it’s calibrating (wasn’t at the time) but I’m not banging it around

Your case is a bit more extreme, but yeah bug guts are normal. My maiden voyage came back with plenty of guts on it. The camera and sensors, though, were never obstructed or hit.

I have the same problem. Bees attack my drone bad. My phantom 3 pro or the Mavic pro gets hit every time.

I came back once with a large splatter of bird crap right on top. Good aim.

I wonder if this is somehow connected with the sonar unit on the Mavic's belly.
