Buying an Air next week!! Tips?!

My kids dog (about as big) loves to chase any drone I fly. Its become a game. Super fun and he's good about not grabbing it but he will chase it all day LOL

When mine was a pup I got one of the $5 mini drone things from Walmart. This guy caught it the fourth flight. He absolutely hated the thing.

I am buying a Mavic Air on the 22nd when I get the last $100 I need for it. I have been watching tons of video about recommended setting changes. I am going to buy a landing pad and MAS propellers when I purchase it. I will have three medium sized cards instead of just one large one. I would like to know more tips or recommended videos to help before I really get to flying. Thanks in advance!!!

My advice besides all the obvious stuff (Open Field, good weather) is when you go out for the first few times focus on learning one aspect of the drone at a time. So for the first battery I took it slow and learned to fly and control it. With the next battery I started focusing on the information that the screen was telling me and some of the flying settings(Return home elevation etc.....). Then I went out on my last battery and started messing with the camera and its functions. I just find it helps to focus on one thing at a time or you can be overwhelmed and make a flying mistake.
