The UAS Beyond Visual Line of Sight Aviation Rulemaking Committee is holding public virtual listening sessions to discuss the BVLOS ARC final report.

The content is pretty interesting actually. I just break it up into several parts as opposed to one continuous listen. Here are some highlights regarding Chula Vista, CA PD BVLOS WAIVER:

Chula Vista PD is one of the few PDs in country to be given permission by FAA to fly drones BVLOS up to 3 miles away. Since 2018, about 15,000 flights conducted over entire 50 square mile city without a single safety incident or near miss with any manned aircraft. Chula Vista PD can respond by drone to virtually anywhere in the city within about three minutes from one of several rooftop stations.
