Caching maps for off-line use

Sorry neither of those solutions helped you, and I feel your pain. I'm planning to travel to an area of northern Virginia in September that's pretty much guaranteed to not have either WiFi or cell coverage, and I'm really hoping to have offline maps working when I get there.

Yeah....not sure what to do in those cases. Actually I really want to fly offline all the time. I'm using a dedicated Ascend XT2 as my display, and it has no cell service. I have been tethering it to my phone when I have to, but I'd rather not rely on that. I would much rather load all the maps at home on wifi before heading out. At this point I just don't know how to get it working.
