Is it possible to calibrate the Mavic 2 with the Litchi App?

My Litchi Waypoints are quite accurate but every once in a while they are off - so I usually have to calibrate in DJI 4 and then restart everything to get the Home Point re-positioned.

Does Calibrate help with GPS Positioning?

Thanks,

John

no the calibration is for the compass in the drone ,all calibrate does is make sure the compass is pointing to magnetic North before the GPS module starts to acquire enough satellites to bring up the ready to take off message ,the GPS is only accurate to about plus or minus 8 ft

Not at all ... not even a little bit.
If your compass requires calibration (almost never), you would know it as the drone wouldn't hover properly or fly straight.
The compass has nothing at all to do with GPS or GPS accuracy.

What do you mean by waypoints being off?
Consumer GPS is not pinpoint accurate and will commonly have an error of +/- 2.5 metres.
That's all you can expect of GPS.
If you are talking about such small errors, they are common and normal.

What compass calibration actually does is to identify and measure the magnetic fields that are part of the drone itself, so they can be subtracted from the compass data.
