I finally got a chance to fly the Mavic 4 pro in good conditions with real photo subjects today and I'm impressed.
All three cameras exhibit significant improvements over those of the Mavic 3 pro.
They all show greater dynamic range.
I always had problems with shadow detail and highlights in clouds but today's results are a game changer.
Here are a couple of examples ...click twice on the images to see them at large sizes.

Here's a shot with the 6X long tele.
The areas under the bow and the front which is out of the sun, are showing detail just as well as those parts which are lit by the sun.
Cloud detail is good, as are the colours.

The 2.5X short tele is also very good for shadow detail as well as highlights ..

The 1X wideangle performs just as well.
The images straight from the camera are quite good and hardly any tweaking is required.
All my previous DJI cameras tended to slightly overexpose at EV 0 and I would always shoot at EV -0.3 or -0.7 to get correct exposure.
The Mavic 4 pro gives pretty good exposure at or about EV 0 and the way that changes to settings for any of the cameras are applied to all the cameras, whether that's exposure or changing resolution.

Car carriers are the ugliest things afloat but the Mavic 4 pro does a good job of making this ugly duckling look pretty good.
This new drone looks like it's a keeper and the 3 pro will be sold.

Are you using any kind of noise reduction with these images? I am especially impressed with the level of detail in the 2.5x and 6x images compared to what I am used to working with from my Mavic 3 Pro.

It really is an improvement over m3p. Both mid and long tele required lots of work and denoise to look good. The same lenses on the m4p are much cleaner and sharper

Perhaps the water in your part of the world is a different colour.
The water in those photos looks very natural.

the Cyan color looks oversaturated.

agree with your observation, as someone who previously used an m3 pro 3 and 7x lenses often, this m4 pro blow it out of the water,

the 7x lens on the M3P sucks but the main camera is much better and better than the M4P in some ways. I still want one but they aren't for sale in the USA. oh well.

The images straight from the camera are already very good.
About all I did to them was to adjust highlights a little.

Very nice - that's the level of detail I expect from my Mavic 3 Pro cameras after I run them through DxO PureRAW 5. I can't wait to see what the Mavic 4 Pro images look like with that same treatment once DxO adds modules to support these new sensors/lenses. The newest module updates that just came out from DxO don't list the Mavic 4 Pro yet.

Most impressive.....that is the step up I would be looking for when I want to upgrade from my M2P.....the M3P didn't convince me it was worth a one generation expenditure. Thx.

no way is that ocean natural looking. I fly over the ocean everyday.
