Can I get my Mavic Pro to fly over 400 feet?

Wonder if you could help a fairly new flyer. Flying my Mavic Pro it hits an altitude of 400 feet and stops. If I come to an object that is higher, a building or mountain how do I fly over it? Thanks for any help.

Change your "Max Flight Altitude" setting.

How do you go higher than 500m? I've seen videos on YouTube above 4km.
I find 500m high enough, 120m is definitely not high enough.
I probably never would go above 1km and even if I did just to test out.
So how do you do it?

You would have to jailbreak it to exceed the 500m

I imagine it can fly as high as the radio range.
I was always uncertain about air density at altitude, but there have been a few examples of flight at Everest base camp and higher.

Make sure you are aware of rules that we are required to fly under before any attempt as in most places this is not permitted and it is generally frowned upon when brought up as a discussion point

I couldnt find the link but somewhere I came across that the pro had an aerodynamic ceiling of 14,500 ft or 5000 m...

If you ever mod your drone and your going to test it do it next to a mountain where no airplanes travel . I would be scared about getting in the path of a airplane
