Can pictures taken with the MM be seen on your smartphone?

Hi all,

I wonder why the DJI FLY app does not store the pictures taken with the MM at your smartphone. It does so with the vids, although in a smaller format than on the SD card, but watchable. Surely, pictures will take much less memory space so I cannot figure out the reason why they are not stored. Or is it some option in the app I did overlook?

It might be a combination of SPACE and TRANSMISSION TIME. In order to store anything on the phone/tablet, it would have to be transmitted back from the drone to the device. It not only takes time but also battery power. But whatever the reason, that is the way DJI designed these things and I don't believe it can be changed.

At the same time, you can manually copy/transmit pictures and videos from the drone to the phone/tablet by using the review or preview button under the shutter button the right side of the screen. Then when reviewing the gallery items you can copy them. Again, be aware that this takes battery power and hogs resources so doing it while flying might not be a good idea. Also, VIDEOS can take MINUTES to transfer to be careful. Pictures go much faster.

Thanks for the tip! It can be very usefull if you are with friends to show them the pictures you have taken. I will try your method out for sure!
