Can You Fly With Negative Altitude????

Don't know if this has been covered, if so point me in the right direction.

I was away at the weekend and wanted to fly around a lighthouse, this was below where I would be taking off from.

My question is... Is this okay to do? Is it something they account for with the drone? I'm using a Mavic 2 Pro, Just want to double check on peoples experience doing this before I send my Mavic on a suicide mission.

I have flown my DJI drones many times from canyon rims with the drone below me in the canyon. The altitude indicator dutifully shows a negative number.

There is no negative limit.
