I have been trying out the quickshots on my M2Pro, but i can only get them with hyperlapse video. Is there a way to choose NOT hyperlapse? As far as I’m concerned, hyperlapse is nothing more than a gimmick i dont need.

I'm not sure what you mean. The only Hyperlapse is Hyperlapse.

The Quick Shot modes should produce normal video (though it's only HD, not giving you all of the other video format options).

when i go to Quickshots and take a video, when it is played back it is in hyperlapse- starts off right then speeds up then slows down. So i guess its not supposed to do that?
I just looked st a couple recent “circle” shots- they were short, two sped up and slowed down and one started normal and then went high speed to the end.

Well, since a hyperlapse itself does not speed up and slow down, the answer is no, it's not supposed to do that.

What happens when you playback video recorded normally (not quickshots or hyperlapse or anything, just straight video)?

You may need to post one of your videos for us to see the speed changes.

This is a short, “normal” video

This is a short quickshot circle:

It also goes more elliptical than circle- maybe because the center i chose was on a vertical plane (below the roof)?

I'm at a loss. I don't really use the quickshot modes, but when I did, it just created a short video and didn't do anything like this (that I remember). Certainly, it was not slow-fast-slow like that.

The only other thing I can think of, since this is a video that is not just written (but is processed internally, then written), that perhaps your SD card choice would make a difference (If you're using a lower grade).

If I were experiencing this, I would want to make a case to DJI, at least on their forums, if not an actual support ticket.

OK, I am here with a different issue in combination with bburnet's issue.
1. how do I get the drone to take footage of an object being circled?
2. what the dickens is hyperlapse?
3. My footage freezes. It simply stops on play back then starts again several seconds later. I cannot acces the frames in between.

#1 is discussed in your owners manual. If we gave you the steps to do it, it would just be a repeat of the manual. (Psst: it's the very Quickshot feature that the OP is talking about.)

#2: A hyperlapse is like a time-lapse. It takes a still photo every so many seconds, then at the end creates a video from those stills (and the video appears to go hyper fast). It differs from a regular video, which takes at least couple of dozen shots each second.

#3: if you recorded 4K video and are playing it back on a slow computer, that's the reason. Search these forums for OODLES of topics that discuss the computer requirements to edit and playback 4K video.

Hi Chris,
No it is not a slow computer. It's rather quick, but it the playback is the same either on the controller or PC. Strangely, it is not consistent. Only on some clips. Which is absolutely devastating that I lost video of power outages and snow fall in Texas. That won't happen again till after I am long dead.

The manual, huh? I will have to try to DL one. I have no idea where half my stuff is after the move.

I was looking at the DroneZbreak, that looked pretty cool, but only for Mac. :(

You should start your own new thread to avoid any confusion and secondary problems.
