I am a little confused. Why would someone need these? The stock controller arms can hold something up to an iPad mini size. Is there a phone bigger than that?

A couple things I like about it...
You can leave the case on and it appears that the cable attachment is more secure.
I'm finding that getting the cable to seat correctly is a bit challenging on my phone using the controller's mounts.

OK, I can see that. Also, another thing I have heard mentioned on this forum is a problem with the reliability of the micro USB on the side. The full size one on the bottom is supposed to be better.

Hate looking down. Would much rather look up. Like the Phantom 4 set up. And I use an iPad Mini 4.
