Charging DJI Mini 2 from a laptop? (Macbook Pro)

Is it safe for the battery pack and batteries to be charged from a Macbook Pro's USB-C cable outlet?

MacBook Pro 16, and is said to be delivering 7.5W and in some cases, 15W, not sure exactly when is which, nevertheless, the question is:

1 - is it safe (does it carry any risk of damaging or expediting the ageing of the batteries by charging it from MB Pro (or other laptops) vs the original DJI charger)?
2 - if the answer to the 1st question is that it's safe, are there any downsides?

The manual says max charging watts is 29. The included charger is 18 watts.

It’s not that unusual for laptop USB ports to fail. They were primarily designed to link a compatible USB device to transfer data and to provide it with enough power to operate.

Using a USB port to charge a small device is possible within the safe current range of the port but when USB chargers are so cheap why risk damaging an expensive laptop, especially using USB C with a limited number of ports on the laptop.

I’ve had USB ports fail on three different DELL laptops over the past 15-years and the only fix available was a motherboard replacement. I’ve never used anything more power hungry than a mini USB external drive on any of the ports.

USB-C is smart, you can connect anything to anything and it'll figure out if there is something the 2 can do together, if not it won't do anything.

It will take a lot longer than using the DJI charger. Higher the charger rating up to 29W maximum the faster it will charge. 7.5W charger will take at almost 2.5 times longer than the DJI charger.
