Thats very cool! I nearly had a spill in my kayak when one (a humpy) breached nearby. Next summer I hope to get some good footage of the manatees here. (although they arent super exciting...)

Grey whale and surfers at Doheny State Beach, CA

Pretty nice shot, it’s funny to see some of those surfers scramble, one of which was a 11 year old kid on the news now, too! Just be careful if you ever are flying and approach any marine mammal in US waters, NOAA does and has cited operators for disturbing them under the marine mammal...

sorry to awaken a dead post but have you been to the shark migration before? I live in Brevard County and was thinking of going down since its on,y a 1-hour drive for me. I was just wondering if you know where to go or os it all just by chance? Thanks in Advance!
