"Chirp under the MP"

Opened my Mavic today and sat it on my desk in my quiet office to start firmware upgrades and change any appropriate settings. The first thing I noticed after turning on was a fairly quick "chirping" sound coming from one of the sensors on the bottom. Sounded almost like a sonar'ish chirp. Would that be the VPS on the bottom? Normal? Is everyone else's doing this? Thanks guys.

Usually it's silent or at frequencies where humans can't hear though right?

What you hear is not the actual sound, but it starting/stopping to transmit in short pulses. Like the sound a GSM phone would make in a stereo a few years ago.
