I took a recent trip to Las Vegas to escape the sub zero temps here in Colorado, it was GREAT! This was my warm up climb, pun intended.

Amazing how close to civilization the super wild place is! Are you up north? That area looked really nice!

Very nice video and well done. I was glued to my screen the whole time. Nice story and you did a great job of leading us all up the mountain. I would love to hear a little bit of the geology involved in the area.

Hi Karl,
wow the scenery is really outstanding. I like very much such landscapes. Class four? What is the highest class? I asked myself how it works with the 360° Camera. Often one can see the shadow of the pole, but one cant´t see the pole itself! How long is the pole?
As always I enjoyed very much to watch your videos. It´s a real pleasure for me and it was not too long!! ?
thanks for sharing your amazing adventures. Looking forward to the next trip! ?
cheers Paul

Nice.
Thanks for sharing.

Big thanks guys, to the best of my knowledge the striped rocks are layers of sediment, red sand, white sand, yellowish sand dunes and whiter sea deposits, lime stone. . . but honestly underfoot, in all areas I went it seemed like sand stone. . . . The really crazy scenes were the psychedelic pastel striped and polkadotted walls and boulders in oranges whites and reds. Thats coming up soon!
Paul, my brother! The 360 camera uses 2 lenses, front and back on a GoPro like body, each once shoots 180° of the scene and then the software stitches the two scenes together for a complete 360 view, the pole disappears in that seam along the edges of the two lenses views as well as the camera. Basically there is a circular plane between the 2 camera lenses that is hidden but stitched together quite well but, you can occasionally see ghosting weirdness along that seam. . .

blubyyou, at the start of the last day I was completely worked, legs already roasted and it turned out to be some seriously physical climbing and a treacherous and devious descent, had to back track after cliffing out. I think experience saved my *** but WOW, were the scenes cool, water/dry falls, insane colored rock walls and even a vertical polkadotted tunnel I had to climb down to get past house sized boulders choking a narrow canyon! Its all coming but, much is not drone based. Not sure I should post here? I was in wilderness areas so no flights from inside. Please come visit my channel if you enjoy these types of adventures, it is LOADED with them!
