code 30135 after reassembly

im fixing a friends air 2s, had the loud gimbal buzzing sound. after replacing and reassembling, it seems to work, but now i have code 30135 for flight processor chip overheating. it appears seconds after power up, and doesnt go away. the fan works, and after a minute or so it ramps up to full speed. the bottom of the drone gets quite hot. i have reassembled multiple times, put a fan and heatsink from a donor air2s in, and tried reseating the heatsink in the thermal paste. am i missing something?

30135 is a critical error and should be addressed before turning the Drone on too many more times. Are you confident that the fan is operating properly? check your connections carefully. Re-flash your firmware. MAKE sure the thermal paste is fully touching the Heat sink!! If not add more.. get the Corsair brand.
