Does anyone know if the latest version of DJI Go4 which is supposed to have been cleaned of Tinker, JSPATCH and giving private flying is compatible with older firmware such as .004 or .007?

My understanding is that DJI have removed these unauthorised modifications to Go4 in the latest versions. I just don't want all the nfz restrictions that have been made since 4.0.8!

The latest update on My Mavic has made it the best that it's ever been, I have had trouble with it for a few months with the CPU and very bad lag and video signal cutting out, whatever they done it's great now
No, just the version number of firmware that I am using along with a fair number of people, who don't need anything in newer versions.
My drone flies fine as it is and I'm not updating firmware just to get problems and extra NFZ's. I just want to get rid of the underhand parts of DJI's Go software.

DJI GO 4 v4.1.9 - Has anyone had the warning pop up about "your flight will be limited to 30/50m..." since app update and firmware 1000 release. My AC is .700, RC is .550 Since the 4.1.9 app update I get this warning every time I fly but my actual flight distance is not limited. Seems like the app is trying to limit flight but firmware 700 is ignoring it. Has anyone else seen this?
Yes, downgraded a friends Mavic from 1000 to 700 on the weekend and yes, get this message pops up at the start of each flight, I just tap and it goes away, it's not limiting the aircraft, it's just a feature of the latest Go4 trying to talk to older firmware. the only way to get rid of it is to downgrade Go4 to an older version which is bloody hard on iOS but easy on Android.
A good reason not to downgrade Go4 is that I understand that Go4.1.9 doesn't have the unauthorised app update push code JSPatch along with the data leaks that various utilities DJI included in the Go4 app. If the only downside is ignoring the message about the distance limit it might be worth me upgrading. Does anyone know any different?
