Hi, I am becoming exasperated. I cannot get my RC to connect to my phone. The RC becomes a charger!!!!

I had this same problem a few years back. Phone would not connect to my controller. I diagnosed the problem by trying to connect my phone to my PC. It turned out that the USB port on my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) went bad, and would only allow charging, not data transfer. I tried cleaning the USB port, using multiple cords, etc...nothing worked. The only solution was to get another phone...that solved it.

Check to see if you can have data access to your phone when connected to PC via the USB.

Thank you. I have tried 3 different phones. GalaxyS8. Note 10 and s21. Also tried 3 different cables. At wits end.

I assume you have also already tried both USB ports on the rc as well?

Hmmn. Sounds like maybe a bad RC?? Maybe you could pick up a used RC off of eBay or something from someone who has lost/crashed their MP??
