What to do with the controller when using active track on oneself while skiing/snowboarding? Any tips, best practices?

Best practice is to keep hold if it in case anything goes wrong.

A neck strap is a must, IMO any time. If that doesn't work, maybe some sort of fanny pack - - people will think you're packin'. :)

Have you tried it Skiing? I didn't know that it would follow terrain. I've only used it on fairly level ground and I prefer profile mode. It's more versatile as you can maneuver it easily but you have to hold on to the remote. I hope someone chimes in with a easy solution for the remote phone / combination. I'm thinking Bumper's neck strap works with the tablet holder.

I have a similar problem using active track when biking .
i can set it up tracking me and filming and if I walk around it follows but as soon as I put the controller and phone in a back pack it stops following me . Any suggestions ?
