I bought a MM1 before the MM2 came out just to try out drones. Loved it. Now I'm thinking about an MA2. There's one on my local craigslist that is reportedly new and the picture makes it look like it is still in a plastic-wrapped box. The description, however, it a bit sketchy. I think I heard once that a bunch of DJI drones were stolen once from a truck and DJI blocked all the serial numbers from ever being activated? In any event, I was just wondering if there are any precautions I could take before giving cash to the seller? Assuming it is still wrapped in plastic I wouldn't expect him to open it but could I run the serial number to see if it has ever been activated or maybe is a refurb unit? He told me that the reason for selling is that he "bought it for a project but ended up not needing it." Many thanks for any thoughts you might have!!!
