I crashed my Air 3 a while ago from a combination of low light and power lines and now I have a choice. Either I can buy just an Air 3 unit or the lowest tier Air 3s package. I am wondering if the Air 3s would still preform well while using the batteries from the Air 3 flymore combo and if there would be any hiccups. Im open to all thoughts and suggestions.

The batteries are nearly identical. Since the Air 3 batteries only have a capacity of 4241 mAh (vs. 4276 in the Air 3S batteries), you'll probably lose about 30-60 seconds of flight time.

I'd go with the 3s

I would go with the 3s, it sounds like it definitely has improvements in obstacle avoidance and cameras to at least some degree. And everything I have read has indicated compatibility with the Air 3 batteries.

If I could afford it, I might would upgrade. I haven't had the Air 3 all that long.

And don't forget the wheatercondition. In just one minute it can raise or drop different m/s. Also de air-pressure.On a crap-site as AliExpress you can buy an anemometer for under $10,=
I use the meter all the time.

Good luck getting one delivered 🥺

My Air 3S is out for delivery today. I had no issues with it passing through Customs.

be glad you can't sometimes, freaking Mavic 4 will be out next year before we know it and DJI is like a blood/$$$ sucking marketing genius... I can afford them, but I may not live through it via the wife many more iterations lol.
