While in RTH mode my Mavic 2 Pro lost control, and plunged into a lake. Does anyone know if the DJI care refresh plan has ever replaced a unrecoverable drone?

Yes, sometimes, but ONLY if you can prove through the data files that the crash was due to the drone/controller failure (i.e. a warranty issue) and not due to pilot error.
