Disconnected Controller

ARRRRRR. I am ready to throw this thing.

I originally had AWESOME signal strength .... Strong Signal a mile out.

I did the firmware update (Like and idiot) and now my signal drops off at about 250-300 meters.

I just launched ... trying to get some night shots and BOOM ... disconnected controller and an undetectable drone 350' up in the air.

Luckily I had set my home point, which resulted in my drone coming back and trying to land into the side of my house. Better to have a damaged drone, rather than a lost drone.

Is there a way to downgrade?

You can downgrade the firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 application. You can download it from the Mavic downloads page.

I also had no issues,till the update.. loads of issues that I never encountered before the update. I flew a mile out to sea on it's maiden flight and now I panic if I can't see it in the air.. I rolled back the update to previous version last night. Test flew it today,back to it's old self again.
Loads of people are having issues and visa versa, some rate it... beats me... I did mine with DJI assistant 2 as well.. but mavic and rc
