I've purchased a DJI AR2S from a thrift store that come to find out was bound to somebody else's account I fortunately have been in contact with the previous owner who said it was reported as a flyway he lost it on top of a building and was unable to retrieve it he is since removed the drone from his account I have it bound to my DJI account but because it was reported as a fly away DJI refuses to unlock it and I'm still unable to fly it is there anybody who could help me with this or away around it?

DJI have already honoured their replacement policy with the original owner and the a/c serial has gone on their blacklist because that drone now belongs to them. I'm afraid you're stuck with a paperweight.

Since you got it at the Thrift store you most likely paid a lot less for the drone so post it on Ebay for parts sale
and if your lucky you might make your money back after commsions.

The Drone belongs to DJI and they must be notified that you have it. They may ask for its return BUT most likely they will just tell you to dispose of it. It cannot and will never Fly again. SORRY. The best idea I can give you is SELL IT AS A PARTS ONLY DRONE on Ebay. DJI will Never unlock a Drone for a consumer. Its DJI Policy.
