DJI Avata 2 and Remote Controller 3

Not certain this the right forum for this so redirect me if appropriate.
I am flying an Avata 2 with Goggles 3 and a motion controller. I am wondering what the Remote Controller 3 would give me in additional capabilities. Then I will decide if that is worth the additional $200.

I only fly with the rc3 since I like flying in manual mode. You can use the RC to practice in fpv simulators

You must have RC3 in order to fly manual mode (which is one step above sport mode). The MC is unable to put the Avata 2 into manual mode. While in manual mode, you control the drone differently, it's faster, it can do acrobatic tricks. Your drone is not longer under the strict control of GPS.
