It basically allows you to replace your Mavic twice at a discounted price. You'll need to send your Mavic to DJI in order to get a replacement. See more details here. What does it really provide?
DJI Care Refresh+ allows you to extend the coverage from 1 year to 2 years. You must purchase it before you use both replacements or your DJI Care Refresh plan expires. See more details here.I see they have a + version now also
I have this also in addition to the DJI coverage. Just realize that the State Farm insurance is a one time claim. They will drop you after you make a claim. I've had to use the DJI insurance for a crashed drone and reserve the State Farm insurance for a fly away or un-recoverable situation. Also be aware that with the DJI insurance you will receive a refurbished drone and not a new one if you elect to not have it repaired and replaced. That's why, in the USA, I chose to get coverage with a State Farm Personal Article policy for $60/yr that covers up to about $3k worth of stuff. I added my Mavic 2 Pro & my wife's new 12.9 inch iPad Pro to the coverage (already had my Mavic Pro and a 17" HP laptop on the policy) for an extra $19 (premium now $79/yr). Zero deductible. Covers loss & breakage. Not available in California. Coverage is good worldwide for claims.
Use it once and they will boot you and not let you put your new replacement u get on their policy....had it happen to 2 friends so far....each time there explanation is its to costly and doesnt make sense on their endThat's why, in the USA, I chose to get coverage with a State Farm Personal Article policy for $60/yr that covers up to about $3k worth of stuff.
