Normally to have Care refresh you must register for it within 48 hours of new aircraft registration. But DJI have allowed you to send in a registration video of aircraft verification there after...Pain in the rear, but once accepted they will issue a plan for you. Thanks for the info. At least it will give me a bit of peace of mind. In only my second flight, I decided to fly over the River Tees and get some footage of a local bridge. My nerves were shattered and I cut my flight short. Obviously in time with more experience and knowing that I am insured for a splash the nerves will ease, haha. Thanks again.

Thank you, I didn't realise that. Looks like the nerves will jangle anyway. I do know that you can get floats but I wouldn't have much faith in them as the area of the Tees I am referring to is very industrial and access is limited. 43 here in the North Sea, 100 miles off the east coast of Scotland, though I'm sure its a lot colder with the wind chill factor. It's actually only 36 in my home town of Middlesbrough. So much for global warming haha
