Hi, I would like to register my Mini 2 for Mavic Care. It was a Christmas gift and I couldn't wait to get it in the air. I have flown it twice since Christmas. Once on 31st Dec and again on 5th Jan. Am I still eligible to register for the DJI Care? ATM I am working offshore in the middle of the North Sea and I won't have access to my drone until 30th Jan. Have I left it too late or is there still hope for me to register. Cheers

John

Normally to have Care refresh you must register for it within 48 hours of new aircraft registration. But DJI have allowed you to send in a registration video of aircraft verification there after...Pain in the rear, but once accepted they will issue a plan for you. Sample video of what will be required in this link: https://repair.dji.com/en/djicare/customerupload

Thanks for the info. At least it will give me a bit of peace of mind. In only my second flight, I decided to fly over the River Tees and get some footage of a local bridge. My nerves were shattered and I cut my flight short. Obviously in time with more experience and knowing that I am insured for a splash the nerves will ease, haha. Thanks again.

Just remember you MUST have a drone to send in for Care Refresh to replace....Don't know how deep (Or Cold) the River Tees is, but something to keep in mind. ;)

Thank you, I didn't realise that. Looks like the nerves will jangle anyway. I do know that you can get floats but I wouldn't have much faith in them as the area of the Tees I am referring to is very industrial and access is limited. Guess it's just fingers crossed for that venture, haha

I've just realised that I posted my query on a page that was meant for introductions.
So here goes; Pleased to meet you all. Greetings from MIDDLESBROUGH UK.

Well hello from the Hoosier Heartland Johnnyg666.

Welcome to the Forum. ?

you buy the refresh?

we offer 20% off for the forum
You will notice he isn't doing anything till the end of the month (First post)? He doesn't have access to do the video. You might want to link him to your/forum offer though just in case for later :)

How does that work with OP needing to send video into DJI to be eligible?

43 here in the North Sea, 100 miles off the east coast of Scotland, though I'm sure its a lot colder with the wind chill factor. It's actually only 36 in my home town of Middlesbrough. So much for global warming haha
That's to cold for me lol. It's 54 today that's cold for Florida
