DJI Drones used to monitor Notre Dame Cathedral fire in Paris

Sounds like the entirety of Paris is one big no fly zone right now.
The no flight zone around Paris is much greater than the city itself.
It’s pretty much the global Paris suburban area (including parks, etc..)
Something like a 30 or 40 km radius around the centre of Paris.

But interestingly, not implemented by DJI in the GEO database:

The French National Geographic Institute (IGN) maintains and publishes an online map of the official no fly zones (and other regulatory data such as maximum authorized altitudes).
Here is a screenshot of the Paris area. Paris city is the dark blob in the centre of the large pink zone (no fly zone). As a hint of the scale of this map, left an right of Paris city centre you can see the two ‘woods’ close of Paris (Bois de Boulogne and Bois de Vincennes). They show up as lighter zones.

I just feel fortunate that my wife and I toured the Cathedral (2009) years before the disaster (sounds like a quote from Steve Martin's story about demolishing the Cathedral at Chartres by mistake, and being grateful to have seen it before it was destroyed). We took the Chunnel train from London and had 6.5 hours to see Notre Dame and the Louvre, and then catch the train back to London.
