DJI Fly Bug?

Just this morning, I opened DJI Fly and viewed some recent photos and video. Then, a short while later, I needed to fly, and it wouldn't open, saying there was a bug. Now, it just won't open at all.

Went to the Play Store, searched DJI Fly, and there's a pile of aftermarket apps, but couldn't find the real one.

Any help on this is appreciated. I'm about to leave for a short trip and wanted to use my drone. I'm bringing it along just incase I can get it working again.

The current version of DJI Fly is only available here.

DJI no longer deploys software to the Play Store. You shouldn't go there to download any official DJI apps.

^^^^^^ and been that way for a few years now. Too bad we can’t do the same with iOS without jailbreaking the device.

I had this same issue. Contacted DJI via X and they will send you a link with a password to the DJI fly download which sorted it out. The link is below, the password is DJI123

Why not download it from the DJI Download Center instead? No special link or password needed.

Because that didn't work. Tried the download centre twice which was why I contacted DJI.

DJI Fly 1.14.1 is available at the download center.
The link you provide with the password has an older Fly, version 1.13.10

I did manage to download it from DJI. It's updated with a new look, but it worked on my phone. I was away so haven't tested it with the 'copter yet, but at least I was able to get in and view my album and things. The old version just quit on me and wouldn't even open... so there's some progress. I'll check it out with the 'copter later today.

Update. As mentioned above, I loaded the new app yesterday. Did a short, 5-minute test flight and it seems to work fine. The operating screen is laid out the same (kind of a surprise) and the only big change I noticed was the opening screens. I wished I'd acted sooner because just before we dropped a large tree on our property was when I found out it wasn't working. I wanted to get video from above. But, I missed it. There are a few more trees to be cut down, so I'll do my best to get those "filmed."

Maybe some type of temporary technical issue? I don't know. I've never seen that link in the Download Center not be accessible. Seems to be working okay at the moment.

I have a Pixel 6 and mine quit working as well. In another thread one of the DJI in the DJI forum an admin posted a link to install an older version. I did so, opened it up, then updated it to the newest version. Everything worked after that.
