That's what I was thinking. Who knows, it might just happen. This whole RID thing is still not settled. I have a P4P and I don't think DJI will have anything for it. External units are very expensive right now. Price should come down or I will be grounded!I have a feeling that if the Platinum is good the OG mavic pro is good too. Of course that’s not official but the Mavic Pro and MP Platinum run on the same firmware and nearly identical hardware. The platinum is basically a special edition of the Mavic Pro rather than a different model.
There is an update for the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom.
New firmware for DJI Mavic 2 drones brings Remote ID support
A new firmware update for DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom aircraft is finally adding drone Remote ID support in the US.dronedj.com
According to the article, this will give these models of drones Remote ID capabilities.
Your flight logs will also show if RID was active for a particular flight. You can upload and view the contents of TXT flight logs here.Any thoughts to what I am possibly overlooking?
If you want something a little more polished, check out Flight Reader (my offline DJI flight log viewer).I was astounded by the amount of flight information generated on the test flight contained in the CSV file
This is the DJI proprietary RID and UUID (Unique User IDentification). With all the Red-Under-The-Bed paranoia sloshing around the halls of Government in the US, I doubt that accessing Chinese held DJI AEROSCOPE data is acceptable, even though it is accurate and comprehensive AND specifically tied to a specific users personal details, e-mail and phone number.I was navigating through my DJI Go 4 app and found Remote Identification ( see photo attached ).
Will this work for coming requirement or be updated to meet criteria to fly my MP1.
