DJI Go and Go 4

I am getting crowded on iPhone storage and was wondering if I can delete the Go App and just run Go 4 App and Litchi?

You don't need DJI GO on your iPhone in order to use DJI GO 4.

FPV Camera app is much better than Litchi and Autopilot.
Give it a try.

I like that I can create a flight pattern on the laptop. Gives you a chance for other input on routes and target photos. Am I wrong that isn't doable on Go?

You're correct. DJI GO does not offer that feature.
