I'm having a difficult time understanding the technology behind this proposed app: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-aviation-drones/amid-privacy-backlash-chinas-dji-unveils-drone-to-phone-tracking-idUSKBN1XN2JR Apps don't generally have access to raw wifi radio data, at least under iOS.
