DJI Mini 2 Take off/Landing from 14,036' on Mt Sherman

there is nothing to see ;-)

So if you were to fly off of the summit - what I am curious about is are you not way over the 400' limit? Does the software try and shut you down? I read some OP's talking about how coming off a mountain cliff they were unable to regain their takeoff altitude. (Waypoint) (On top of the mountain) and consequently lost their drones. I flew my mini on top of a mountain, but there was no cliff's "edge" to fly off, and had no problems.

Any input appreciated.

Altitude limit in DJI software (adjustable up to 1600-ish feet) is above takeoff elevation.

Otherwise, anyone who lives/flies at a takeoff elevation above 400' would be out of luck!

Legal rules is 400' AGL (above ground level), not 400' MSL (above mean sea level).

Thanks folks, it was one of my most fun flights, conditions were incredible cloud wise. Got many more hours of video in South Dakota Badlands and Utah, just awesome landscapes. Still camping in Utah now at 8,000' to 10,000' to avoid the extreme heat back in Vegas....
