DJI Permissions on Android

Has anyone notice when they install the DJI Go App what permissions it uses? why on earth do they need to access Identity, Call Log and other info? this sounds like a massive invasion of privacy

• find accounts on the device
• add or remove accounts

Contacts

• find accounts on the device

Doesn't work, and yes, I don't mind if it accesses my camera, but contacts? call list? I don't know where you took your screenshot, Simmo, but my phone shows Device ID & Call info, Wi-Fi connect into, location...not so innocent is it?

Thats a screen grab of the app in the app store, when you select 'read more' or similar??

No a screen grab before I hit "Install", there are one or two more settings below the screenshot not shown. Note that none of the permissions can be disabled. Admittedly, DJI probably doesn't upload the info, but I don't like the app having access to all that data

Eitherway, yes a lot of permissions. Not that I care because I use dedicated devices with no info on them.

I agree..this is one is not a "live phone", I did not mean to come as a smart alec, but I thought you were saying it really didn't collect that much data.
