I have a DJI RC2 controller that I use with my DJI Air 3S. I've recently bought a DJI Mini 5 Pro and want to use the controller with it as well. When I add the Mini Pro 5 to the controller and go in and set up all the settings for it, will it change all the settings for my Air 3S as well. Basically what I'm asking is can I use the controller for both drones and have 2 seperate set of settings. Thanks guys!

Most settings are stored on the Drone. (flight stuff and modes...etc).
Did you download the appropriate firmware and profiles for the Mini 5 during setup? It doesnt sound like it
From DJI:
"The first time you connect your RC 2 to the Mini 5 Pro, the controller may need to download the appropriate firmware and profiles for that model. Once the setup is complete, all your customized settings for the Mini 5 Pro will be saved on the drone itself, and your settings for the Air 3S will remain unchanged".

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear. I haven't added the Mini 5 Pro to the controller yet.

Once you do, whenever you change drones from the last one you flew with, when you select the new drone, it will run a small firmware file stored on the RC 2 to make the necessary changes for it, and then load DJI Fly. Takes less than 15 seconds.

Just make sure you have internet access when you initially select the new drone for the first time, so it can download and install the necessary resources.

Makes since being you cannot change settings unless the drone is powered on. So if you are changing settings on one, and the other is powered off, no issue.
