DJI Restricted areas are CIRCULAR. All NFZ's are not Circular!

I live in Fortson, GA 20 min. north of Columbus. And I ordered a Mavic Pro yesterday. Was your NFZ problem resolved? I’m sure I’ll be facing the same issue(s).

South of that red line is the NFZ. So basically, North of the railroad tracks is okay.

So inside of an NFZ you cannot even launch and fly up maybe a maximum of 30-50 feet or so?

That is honestly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life.

You can't launch. At all. Yes, it is pretty ridiculous.
It is a liability thing with DJI, I am sure. But their Support Department is in my experience, very responsive, and they will work with you to unlock certain areas.

I'll have to try that again.
With my post maps in post 21 showing DJI red circle zone, I did once (after I'd just got the drone, and didn't yet know about the other more accurate NFZ apps), take mine up down by the beachfront, outside the DJI zone, but inside the drone complier zone.
Will have to try and start the mavic inside the circle, maybe lift a foot if it starts, and see if it is totally restricted to starting and / or flying.
