Hmm. Seems its biggest advantage over a standard remote and a CrystalSky is the 4k HDMI out port. I can't really think of anything in my workflow that would really benefit from that. It may be useful to some, though.

I like that you only have two things to charge and no cables.

I purchased this controller with the aircraft. I have a P4P+ which I am able to put in the air in 1/5 the time as my Mavic Pro. That was one reason driving me to the purchase. Also, the entire setup stays with the aircraft. No more driving out to the field only to go back for an iPad or finding a bad cable. It needs a matt finish to reduce reflections. Haven't tried 3rd party apps yet which is a draw back to the P4P+ but may be good in this transmitter. I have noticed a few odd quirks but we're still on an early revision. Lots of potential if DJI doesn't get restrictive with it.
