Do I need Computer?

Do I need a PC or Mac to update either the controller or the Mavic? Or can I make do with a tablet based

DJI Mavic Pro - Stand and Cable Kit

At this point I only use an iPad Air. I'd really like to avoid buying a PC.

you can do it with a tablet or phone through the DJI go 4 app.
