Don't bother to bring your Mavic Pro Drone to Island hopping in Thailand.

Bummer. I'm heading to Thailand on Monday and will report back on my experience. Will be in Chiang Mai, Koh Lanta, Krabi, and Khao Lak. Hoping for some great shots.

How did you get on?

I'm going to Chiang Mai and Koh Lanta (not until November).

I'm not expecting to be able to fly in Chiang Mai but am hoping to get some nice pics in KL.
Did you register the drone?

I'm hoping:
1) Your username isn't a clue as to how this ended.
2) You aren't languishing in a Thai prison cell given you've not yet reported back to us.
