Drone disconnects close to my house and still lost

My drone disconnected from my app so I restarted it and nothing. Then I restarted my controller and nothing. I walked to where the drone should have been and nothing. I'm pretty sure it's on a roof or in a yard. It was 200 ft up when I lost connection with 70%. With the log uploaded can anyone help me figure which doors to knock on? Attached is my flight log. I searched the open field with my controller on trying to reconnect.

Wow, that is a bunch of errors for yaw and compass. Doesn't seem normal. @sar104 was helpful in locating mine. I'm pretty new, so not the best technician, but given the amount of error and what I've learned from other here so far, seems likely that it may not have returned if it couldn't get it's bearing. Might have entered ATTI mode and either landed close to the last point or drifted until the battery was exhausted.

I passed out flyers when mine went down in a similar area, and then knocked some doors. Got to know a neighbor and got my drone back.

That has happened to me before. The only way of regaining connectivity to your phone when that happens is to turn off the controller and then turn it back on. Other than that you still have control over the craft and should have pressed the RTH button on the controller. So sorry you lost your bird

It disconnected close to your house? So fly it home without the app. Could you see it? If so, why didn’t you fly it back?If you couldn’t see it.. did your telemetry stop too? If not use the data to fly it back. At any rate... why didn’t you just fly it back?

Turning off the TX is the absolute wrong thing to do because with it on you could ________________ without the app.
