Drone found

Not sure about Canada, but in the U.S. you can search the FAA website for the serial number. I checked, not listed so most likely Canadian-owned. Don't see any way of doing that for Canadian drone registrations.

In the US, our are supposed to be marked with a tail number as well. If it has one, that could help you find its owner. Also, it might have a microSD card in a slot on it (I am not familiar with that model), which could have some info on it to help finding an owner. They might also have placed something inside the battery compartment like a name or contact info.

If it doesnt have a Canadian transport registration number on it (starting with a C) then its not registered with transport Canada and was flying illegally. If it does you can contact Transport Canada with that number, if not, you could send an email to DJI saying you found a drone with such and such a serial number. They should at least have the email address of the owner and they can contact them directly.
