Having read your forums regarding taking a drone to the Bahamas.
I, with Documented Residency, had my small drone taken at Customs and was given a Tel number in Nassau
to call and ask for a Mr....... I did so and never received a return call. Remember you probably won't be
carrying a satellite phone so this was the first obstacle. Since I did this about three years ago I did not have
the 50% deposit offered - I also would have declined. Knowing my sister is waiting over 1 and a half years for
her phone deposit to be returned you can guess the delay. I did have my drone waiting at the Customs Office
inside the Departure facility to retrieve when I departed a few weeks later.
I believe all this drone resistance is to protect someone's business interest not military security.
