I came across this article when reading some stuff on GPS.
Dual frequency GNSS for Android phones
It wasn't something I was aware of but apparently there is a new carrier frequency "L5" which is gradually being rolled out, which gives +/- 30cm accuracy without differential/RTK corrections.
The chipset is already available for Android phones and is not significantly more expensive than the single frequency chips.
I was wondering if anyone knew if this is a possible upgrade for DJI drones or if any current drones use a dual-frequency receiver?
It surely would be a very useful to get almost RTK accuracy without the expense or complexity.
