Explain the waypoints for mavic pro

Hi i want to know how to use the waypoint functionality in dji mavic pro

Basically i want to know

* how to use
* what can i do?
* can i use the flight mission to other mavic drone?
* how i can set up waypoints? Do i really need to fly to them first and save them? Or i can use the map or something?

Please help. Im a newbie flyer

Start slow. Practice flying first. Then look on YouTube for tutorials.

The DJI Go app has waypoint features which you record by flying there. Other apps allow pre-planning on the computer but there are things to be cautious about... you might not see flying hazards on your computer map that you see in person.

Does the Mavic use barometric pressure or GPS to calculate the altitude at waypoints?

If I recorded waypoints on a Monday when the pressure was 990 then flew the course on a Thursday and the pressure was 1030 would the altitudes be the same, similar or quite different?

The waypoint altitude is relative to your take off point at the time of your flight. Unless your flying just as a big front is just coming through the altitude won't change much during a single flight
